Hello everyone. When I got home, the first cut I played was the "house" version and with two fingers crossed I held my breath and to my delight it was the same song I've been listening to on that mix tape(and yes we called them mix tapes- I just can't get used to these mixed compilation c.d.'s, ha- ha-ha). Soon after that, I bought a casette version of "CYNTHIA",The ALBUM and enjoyed playng it for my latin female freinds who would show me how to do the current freestyle, latin/hip hop moves O' the day O.k. It had the latin percussion/beat and was just infectious. Thank you Cindy Torres, and to the most talented writers Mickey Garcia and Elvin Molina for bestowing upon us these now classic dance cuts. At, that time I didn't even know her name was Cynthia so I didn't pursue trying to find it. Cynthia first grabbed my attention on a mix tape of my brother's; it was a remixed "house" version of "change On Me" which was simply marvelous. So now the song had a name and an artist- CYNTHIA; and the rest as they say is history.
About a year later, I found a 12" record at a Coconuts that I frequented and low and behold it was entitled of course "CHANGE ON ME". I was absolutely thrilled and couldn't wait to get home and play it. We had so much fun and these are such fond memories that have remained with me. good classic freestyle. Change on Me and Endless Nights take me back to the rollerskating days at the rollerrink when i was a kid.I love it.
I LOVE THIS SONG AND I ALSO LOVE CYNTHIA SHE IS MY FAVORITE FREESTYLE SINGER. I HAVE ALL OF HER CD'S AND I ALSO LIKE THE SONG DREAMBOY/DREAMGIRL.
This album only have 6 songs, but the songs are long, don't be fooled. This is a great cd for anyone who likes FREESTYLE or DANCE music. Cynthia is GREAT and so is this album. "ENDLESS NIGHTS" is an AWESOME SONG. GREAT DANCE BEATS.
Don't miss out on her other cds and especially the song "DREAM BOY/DREAM GIRL", in that song she teams up with Johnny O and sings lovely. She is really great at this even though this is a old cd. Cynthia has great vocals for singing Freestyle. Her songs will have you singing along to the catchy lyrics and beats. The great tracks of the cd to me is "CHANGE ON ME", "ENDLESS NIGHTS", and "THIEF OF HEART". Overall this cd is a must have for any freestyle collector cause she is one of the best Singers. I wish more stars could be given to the cd. Also Good luck finding alot of copies of the cd at your local record stores.
